We love a summer Brittland wedding! Right across the Chester River from our flower farm, this local venue has so much beauty and a historic feel to it as well.
Marcella and Justin chose a soft pastel color palette, in ivory, peach, pink, and butter yellow. The bridesmaids wore blush pink dresses, and the guys wore light tan suits - a perfect fit for a hot summer day. Her flower girls also got the floral treatment with fresh flower crowns!
Their ceremony took place at the edge of the cornfield, overlooking the waterfront at the bottom of the hill. We placed large flower arrangements at the entrance to the aisle, hydrangea flower pomanders on the chairs, and wrapped shade umbrellas with greenery garlands made of Italian ruscus. The ceremony arch had two floral pieces arranged in an asymmetric fashion, with one larger on the top left corner and one smaller on the right side post.
As a guest favor, Marcella chose small jars of honey, and had us create a dried floral arrangement to sit beside the display!
Inside the tent, we hung greenery from the iron chandeliers over the dance floor. We also had a mix of table styles: some had bud vases while others had white ceramic compote dishes with flower arrangements. All tables had our votive candle holders.
