Having a summer camp wedding in the fall means that not only is the temperature better, but you get the whole place to yourself!

Brenn sent us her inspiration and ideas... and we fell in love immediately! She and Zach wanted to create a whole weekend experience for their families and guests, complete with camp activities + cabins, themed decor, and using all the best parts of our local Camp Tockwogh.

Autumn jewel tones can mean a lot of different things - just take a look at our gallery! For this couple, it meant rich magentas, golds, deep cobalt blues, emerald greens... all the brightness of a summer rainbow but *just* as it turns towards autumn and becomes a little warmer and a little darker.

We created Brenn's bouquet here in our flower barn, but we set up a DIY Bridesmaids Bouquet Flower Bar for them to create their own bouquets in between getting ready!! The guys had pocket square style boutonnieres, that fit inside the front pocket of their suit jacket, making it easy peasy without pins.

The ceremony took place near the woods, so we brought in touches of the Chesapeake Bay (that the camp is situated on) with large driftwood pieces. Each time we put together the driftwood ground arch it is always a little bit different and unique to your day! We made a few flower arrangements to sit at the base, and added clusters in throughout the driftwood as well. After the ceremony, guests tossed paper cones full of dried flower petals into the air for an eco-friendly confetti!

In the reception, we suspended inverted flowers from the tent lighting! This created a really fun and unique spotlight over their sweetheart table area.

The couple had collected vintage and thrifted chairs in all colors and styles to use as guest seating, and also hand-embroidered the table numbers in the same bright autumn jewel tone color palette! This added to the fun, whimsical, down-home vibe of the summer camp wedding style.

For centerpieces, we added out flower bud vases, wood round slabs, and lots of harvest fruits to the tables, mixed in with her collection of taper candle holders.

Flowers we used: mums, asters, eucalyptus, celosia, grasses, stock, hydrangea, delphinium, waxflower, zinnias, lisianthus, gomphrena
