Fall wedding but make it VIBRANT! These rich jewel tone purple and blue wedding flowers added lots of energy to a November wedding at The Oaks Waterfront Hotel.
Kati's bouquet had tropical vibes to it with cascading orchids, and the large size added the overall fun and wild style of the wedding. Her bridesmaids wore dresses in emerald green, deep fuchsia, magenta, plum, and royal blue, and carried smaller versions of Kati's bouquet with similar florals. The groom's boutonniere also included a rich purple orchid.
Their ceremony checked off all the boxes!! Guests created their own petal toss cones from our DIY petal bar, filled with lots of fresh petals. The aisle had two large arrangements at the entrance to the aisle, and then was lined with smaller arrangements at each chair down the aisle. These were all repurposed into the reception space, with the smaller ones lining the head table! The ceremony itself was at the waterfront, with two large floral columns.
We've never seen entertainers at a wedding with fringe lampshade hats before, but they are one of our favorite things now!! The cocktail hour was a hit, and we were there in the background moving all of the ceremony florals into the reception.
Inside the Oaks, the round guest tables had a mix of round flower arrangements that sat at table height from the aisle, and taller glass pedestal arrangements. The head table used the narrower arrangements from the aisle down the length of the head table. Colorful taper candles that matched the jewel tones were used as well.
Even the cake got some special treatment with a floral addition!
Flowers we used: ageratum, gomphrena, roses, carnations, allium, gerbera daisy, orchids, mums, delphinium, veronica, eryngium, alstroemeria, celosia
